Setting up of a Media Centre for your TV using a Raspberry Pi

Through the HDMI ports found in the Raspberry Pi, it is possible for the user to set up the device to be his or her home media center. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port with the other end connected to the TV set. This allows the user to be able to access all the media, without having to fork out for the Apple television. To make the project easier, specific operating systems such as the RasPlex and the Raspbmc are built to access the remote media from other locations. This will only be possible when you are connected to an active internet connection such as the Wi-Fi controlled through remote apps on the user’s smartphone.
